If you are an educator or a studying educator looking for a supportive, family-oriented workplace? At Big Little Moments, we're a small, bilingual nursery owned and run by two sisters who are both passionate educators.

We believe in nurturing both the children and the educators in our care, creating a warm, welcoming environment where everyone's voice is valued.

With a small, intimate team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact and be a valued member of our Big Little Moments community.

We offer exciting opportunities for professional growth, including connections to New Zealand through our sister Kindergarten, Back 2 Basics, and we are committed to supporting each educator's unique path to success.

Each year, we hold professional development days where you'll have a say in which areas you'd like to further develop and learn as an educator. Additionally, we have dedicated team days that allow us to get to know one another better, both as colleagues and as friends.

These team days foster stronger relationships and collaboration, enhancing our ability to support each other in our work, and create a positive working environment that benefits everyone, including our families and children.

Work-Life Balance

At Big Little Moments, we deeply understand the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life.

We believe that a fulfilling career should not come at the expense of personal well-being, which is why we are committed to fostering a supportive, flexible, and inclusive work environment.

Our goal is to ensure that team members can thrive professionally while also having the time and energy to focus on their families, passions, and overall well-being. By prioritizing balance, we empower our employees to bring their best selves to work every day.

A key strength of our program is our intimate teaching ratios, which allow for truly individualized learning experiences.

Our two groups, each consisting of eight children with two educators, ensure that every child receives the attention, guidance, and support they need. With a total of 16 children and 4 teachers, our structure fosters strong, trusting relationships and enables us to tailor learning to the personal strengths, interests, and developmental needs of each child.

Employee Testimonials

Loving bilingual nursery with happy children

Working for Big Little Moments has been a life-changing experience for me. Coming here as a student, I had the incredible opportunity to learn from the best teachers.

The passion, expertise, and genuine care they have for both the children and each other have truly inspired me. That inspiration is what motivated me to take the leap and move from Barcelona to Munich to start a new chapter in my life.

Working with the New Zealand-inspired curriculum has been a great experience. Its child-centered, holistic approach perfectly fits my teaching philosophy, encouraging exploration and creativity in and out of the classroom.

The nursery is tucked away in a quiet area, surrounded by a beautiful forest that I absolutely love. I find it so calming to step outside and see the trees and nature all around. It is not just a job here — it is a community.

I am grateful for the chance to be part of a team that values cultural exchange, nature, and a collaborative spirit.

Loving bilingual nursery with happy children

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be working at Big Little Moments.

The combination of the German and New Zealand concept creates a unique early childhood education and a wonderful place to work.

With it being a small centre it allows for beautiful partnerships between colleagues and with families providing a warm, safe and caring place for young children.

In the past two years of working here I have had the opportunity to learn, grow and further develop as an early childhood educator.
